Roger Lee President & Chief Executive Officer, TF Semiconductor Solutions, Inc.

Roger brings more than 27 years of semiconductor experience and leadership to TF Semiconductor Solutions. As President and CEO of TF Semi, Mr. Lee is focused on corporate management and growth of the company.

Roger began his career as an engineer for Texas Instruments, and he has been making his own mark across the globe ever since. During his career, Roger has served on numerous boards and held a variety of executive and senior-level positions for several companies, including senior vice president of SMIC, which went public and became the third-largest foundry in the world. Previously, he co-founded the SMIC-Toppan JV (TSES) where he served as its vice chairman of its BOD, and had held several senior management positions, including senior fellow and head of flash memory, within Micron Technology. More recently, he was COO and board member of Founder Microelectronics, Inc. in Shenzhen, China. There he was responsible for overall company operations, including fab manufacturing, sales and marketing, procurement, facilities, and R&D operations.  

Prior to becoming the CEO of TF Semiconductor Solutions, Roger served as world-wide COO and Interim President & CEO of Telefunken Semiconductors, Roseville, California and Heilbronn, Germany.  Currently, he serves on the TSI Semiconductors board of directors.

Roger has been awarded more than 150 U.S. patents and earned his Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Iowa State University. 


Edgar Abdoulin Chief Technology Officer, TF Semiconductor Solutions, Inc.

Edgar brings more than 32 years of experience in power electronics and power semiconductor device design, development and test.  As CTO, Mr. Abdoulin is responsible for the design and development of TF Semi’s HVIC portfolio.

Mr. Abdoulin worked 28 years with International Rectifier Corporation, a major power semiconductor manufacturer, in various engineering and engineering management positions with staffs from 6 to 17 engineers, technicians and support personnel.  In this capacity, Edgar designed and brought to production multiple high-voltage integrated circuits to the power management product line. After his term at IR, Mr. Abdoulin founded MIREX Corp, an independent design house providing integrated circuit design services to the global power electronics industry.

Prior to co-founding TF Semi, Edgar was the V.P. of HVIC design for Telefunken Semiconductors. While at Telefunken the IC design teams (North America and Germany) successfully developed a large portfolio of power management devices.

Edgar holds over 14 U.S. and foreign patents and earned his Bachelor’s degree (BSEE) from Sharif University in Tehran, Iran and his Master’s (MSEE) from UCLA in Los Angeles, California.


Ken Nowak Vice President of Product Engineering & Product Quality, TF Semiconductor Solutions Inc.

Ken brings more than 23 years of work experience in Test Engineering and Product Qualification to TF Semiconductor Solutions.  Mr. Nowak will lead the Test Engineering and Product Qualification teams which enable TF Semi to get solutions to market faster than their competitors.

Ken began his semiconductor career with Unitrode Integrated Circuits, a leader in power management semiconductors. While at Unitrode, he broadened his background managing product test solutions and qualifications in the analog device space. He continued to expand his technical and management skills as an Engineering Manager with Texas Instruments in Manchester, New Hampshire.

Prior to joining Telefunken and now TF Semiconductor Solutions, Ken was the Eastern U.S. Applications Manager for Eagle Test System (Teradyne). There he supported 14 semiconductor manufacturers worldwide, played a key role in winning Eagle’s largest customer, and was a member of the IPO team.

Ken earned his Bachelors degree in Computer Science from Franklin Pierce University and an Industrial Electronics degree at New Hampshire Technical College. He has completed advanced classes in Statistical Process Control, Gage Capability Analysis and Leadership.

 

Duke Walton Vice President Worldwide Sales & Marketing, TF Semiconductor Solutions, Inc.

Duke Walton brings more than 25 years of executive sales management, business development, and marketing experience to TF Semi. As Vice President of Worldwide Sales & Marketing, Mr. Walton is responsible for revenue, sales growth, marketing and business development initiatives.

Duke worked previously with the Information Security Forum (ISF) where he held the role as Vice President Sales & Business Development – Americas.  At ISF, Duke expanded the Americas Region’s business by 50% annually.  Prior to ISF, Duke was the Director of Strategic Alliances & Professional Services at Counterpane Internet Security.  There he insured Counterpane had the right Global Strategic Relationships. Duke also launched Counterpane's Professional Services practice.  Proceeding Counterpane, Mr. Walton held executive sales and marketing positions with ServGate Technologies, Red Hat/Cygnus Solutions and Creative Technologies.

Prior to co-founding TF Semi, Duke was the Vice President, Worldwide Sales & Marketing for Telefunken Semiconductors International.  At Telefunken, Duke established an international sales channel and expanded the business into Asia and the Americas.

Duke earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Brigham Young University -Hawaii.
