ROBERT TOAN (CHAIRMAN)

 

Richard D. White

 

Mr. White is Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer and Secretary of Diodes Inc. From 2006 to 2009 he served as Senior Vice President of Finance. Mr. White has 34 years of senior level finance experience, including 25 years at Texas Instruments where he served as Vice President of Finance and Production Planning for MOS memory, Controller for TI’s Asia Pacific Division in Singapore, and various other financial positions in the United States, France and Germany. From 1999 to 2005, he served as the Chief Financial Officer for Optisoft, Inc., and from 2005 to 2006, he served as a Partner of Tatum, LLC. Mr. White, a licensed certified public accountant, holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Oklahoma State University and an MBA from the University of Michigan.

Clemente Beltran

Mr. Beltran is Vice President - Corporate Supply Chain/Planning, Outsourcing and Quality of Diodes Inc., since December 2011. Prior to joining Diodes, he served as Vice President of Business Development in 2011 for Semtech Corporation after serving as its Vice President of Worldwide Operations from 2006 to 2010. Prior to Semtech, Mr. Beltran served as Director of Worldwide Operations Planning and Backend Operations for Intersil Corporation from 2002 to 2006. He served as Director of Operations for Elantec Semiconductor, Inc., a manufacturer of analog integrated circuits from 1999 until that company was acquired by Intersil in 2002. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from University of California, Los Angeles, as well as an MBA from Pepperdine University.

 

Francis Tang

Mr. Tang is Vice President - Worldwide Discrete Products of Diodes Inc. He previously served as Diodes’ Global Product Manager since 2005. From 2002 until joining Diodes, Mr. Tang served as general manager of T2 Microelectronics in Shanghai, China where he managed complex mixed-signal SOC product development. From 1996 to 2001, Mr. Tang was the senior strategic marketing director for Acer Labs, Inc. USA, and prior to that, he was employed by NSM for 17 years, where he held various management positions in analog and mixed-signal circuit design, applications and strategic marketing. Mr. Tang holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Missouri – Rolla.

Robert W. Toan, is the Chief Executive Officer of Wafra Capital Partners. Before joining Wafra, he was a partner in the New York based law firm of Hughes Hubbard & Reed LLP, specializing in international taxation, financial transactions and cross-border leasing. From 1979 to 1998, Mr. Toan was a partner of the international law firm of Baker & McKenzie, specializing in international taxation and cross-border transactions. Mr. Toan is the author of numerous articles on international taxation and speaks widely on international taxation and financial topics.

 

Mr. Toan is a member of the Editorial Supervisory Board of International Tax Journal.  He received his JD and LL.M. in Taxation from New York University Law School.

Mike Gontar, is chief investment officer and a director of Wafra Capital Partners Inc., an SEC-registered investment advisor with more than $3.5 billion in assets under management. Michael serves on numerous boards, including TriplePoint Capital, LLC, Reliant Asset Management, LLC and Somerset Capital Group. Prior to joining Wafra, he worked in the Transaction Services group of international accounting firm KPMG LLP, specializing in private equity due diligence and financial transactions.

 

Michael is the co-founder and principal of a real estate investment firm focused on low-income residential properties in the New York region. In addition, he was the vice president and co-founder of a nationwide wholesale company and serves on its board of directors.

 

Michael is a graduate of New York University’s Stern School of Business.

 

AKIO KAWABATA (ADVISOR TO BOARD & CEO)

 

Akio Kawabata, brings more than 48 years of semiconductor experience and leadership to TF Semiconductor Solutions. As Advisor to the company’s CEO and Board, Mr. Kawabata provides insight to CEO and Board, and also leads the general management of the company’s Japan sales distributors and agents.

 

Mr. Kawabata began his career as development engineer of power semiconductor devices in Toshiba Corporation. Then he held wide range of senior and executive positions in Toshiba, including position(s) as President of Toshiba overseas subsidiaries in the United Kingdom, Germany and Singapore. After 32 years at Toshiba he joined SMIC as Vice President, and Japan Office Representative, the biggest Chinese semiconductor foundry. He worked 12 years in SMIC, creating business with major Japanese IDMs. Prior to becoming Advisor to TF Semi’s CEO and Board, Mr. Kawabata served as Advisor to the Board Members at Telefunken Semiconductors, Roseville, California and Heilbronn, Germany.

 

Mr. Kawabata earned Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics from Osaka University, Japan, and Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University, California.
